Einstein wrote “coincidence is God's way of remaining anonymous.” Whatever the case may be, it's entirely apropos that you copyrighted this beautiful image in 2009, the same year the film Vanishing of the Bees was released documenting the disappearance of honey bees from beehives around the world in massive die-offs dubbed Colony Collapse Disorder. Among the 20,000+ species of bees buzzing on the planet [cite] the honey bee is arguably the most prestigious and this striking portrait from 33 stacked exposures pays an extremely timely tribute.
